History of the Shroud of Turin

The Shroud of Turin is a length of linen cloth that is believed to be the burial garment of Jesus Christ. The shroud bears a faint image of a man who appears to have suffered injuries consistent with crucifixion, including wounds on the hands, feet, and side.
